A new section featuring photo galleries of instruments and related musical equipment is now live on the site. This is gear which I have owned over the years dating back to 1973. The photos are divided into four galleries: Synthesizers & Keyboards, Drums, Samplers & Sequencers, Guitars & Basses, and Tape Recorders & Tapes. The photos …

Skyler – Studio & Live, 1981
The restoration project for progressive rock band Skyler is now complete. The band was formed in 1978 and played their first show May 24th, 1980. In addition to writing their own original songs they also specialized in recreating lengthy and complex pieces from other well-known artists at the time. The Skyler Project Page features both studio and live tracks from …
New Press and About sections added
Two new sections have been added to the site, which are accessible from the top menu bar on every page.
First is a Press page which features various newspaper and magazine articles relating to music over the years dating back to 1981. There is also a section for recording industry magazines which feature information about the commercial recording studio which …
New music player added to projects

In addition to the two featured tracks near the top of every Project Page there are new full album music players which have recently been added to several of the projects. These are in addition to projects from WVTG and UXB which were the first two projects to feature the new player. Eventually all projects will include the player as …
TRANSMUTERS – The Second Album

Transmuters’ previously unreleased follow-up to 1983’s “Real World” is now available in the Projects section. Simply titled “The Second Album”, the music for this release was written and partially recorded in 1984. Now, with the use of current technology the album is finally available after more than four decades of being stored on hard drives. Check out the Project page …
“Lost” 1984 project released

A project from 1984 is finally having the release that it deserves due to currently emerging technology. The “Webb Vrenna Trevethan Groover Project” (W V T G for short) features high energy new wave from Dan Webb, Chris Vrenna, John Trevethan and Brian Groover. Stem splitting technology was used to separate the tracks from the forty one year old cassette …
New track in progress
Working on a new track – the first experiment integrating the modular synth with Logic Pro. I added a guitar to my collection last week; a 1987 Fender Strat (Boxer series). I’ve been wanting to replace the original Strat that I owned in 1982 and sold long ago. I’m thinking of using the Strat on this track to add clean, …
Wave First Test
My Wave recently arrived here in Nashville, two days after it was shipped from Andertons in London. (DHL rocks!) I pre-ordered it on December 10th and have been eagerly awaiting its arrival.
Many years ago I owned a complete PPG system with Wave 2.2 & 2.3, EVU, PRK and Waveterm A. I’m very familiar with the PPG sound and it …
TranscenDance
A ten minute Trance track inspired by the recent addition of Moog Subharmonicon and DFAM modules added into the new upper case of my Eurorack system. I haven’t owned a Moog product since I sold my MiniMoog around 1984 (one of my two great music gear regrets). I also almost owned a complete Moog System 55 in the late 90’s …
The new release is complete!
I have finished the final track for the Excursions in Time release, entitled “Destination Rue de Verneuil”. Last night I finally recorded a performance that felt right for this closing track on my album. The track is 11:32 long which brings the total time for the release up to 62mins. For me it’s just right for this type of music. …
