| I
first started using Logic Audio about 6 years ago, Logic 3.5. I
will never forget sitting down at my new computer (Mac) knowing
nothing about computers and then installing Logic Platinum 3.5.
I was so excited, it took me three weeks to get my first sound out
of the program.
Up until then, I played keyboards and sang. It was all new to me...now
6 years later, ready to update to 6.0, Logic is my complete backbone
to my recording. Up until Mac OS X I couldn't for the life of me
get the 'midi' portion of Logic to consistently work. However now
with CoreAudio and midi I am just discovering the joys, and frustrations
of working with midi files. So much information, in such a little
file! It took me about a year to finally begin to understand just
what midi was/is, and it is amazing.
Other than or I should say in addition to Logic I have a Yamaha
CS2x, a couple e-mu's Orbit and Xtreme lead, Motu 828, Fostex VF160,
Macintosh Computer Dual Processor G4, Flat Screen monitor, Tube
Pac Mic PreAmp, AKG microphones, two sets of Behringer 'Truth' monitors,
a V_set of Roland digital drums, and a few other keyboards...Yes
I work with Logic on the creation of my music, I've tried 'em all,
but none compare to my basic, Emagic Logic Audio Platinum 5.5.1.
