Len created
the definitive Logic instruction guide: the Environment Toolkit,
available from Swiftkick.com.
Len studied
mathematics and philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley,
receiving his Ph.D. in Logic and Methodology of Science in 1971.
During that period he also worked as a DJ at a jazz radio station
KJAZ and took courses in jazz piano and improvisation at San Francisco
Conservatory of Music. His interest in electronic music dates from
the early 70's when he studied synthesis at Sound Arts Studios in
Los Angeles. There he joined the Electronic Music Quintet, a group
dedicated to live performance with synthesizers. He hopes to come
back as a bass clarinet.
