DISCOVERIESThe following article was written by Titus Levi and appeared in the November, 1988 issue of Keyboard magazine.
A year ago Trevethan moved to Nashville to further his opportunities in the music business. He describes the scene there as lively for all types of music, especially original work. The fact that the city is smaller than Los Angeles or New York is also an asset, in his opinion, because it allows him to stand out from the pack more easily. He found a collaborator in Nashville too- his wife Brenda, a reed player. Even if he never lands a recording contract, Trevethan plans to continue with his music. He's released his own music before (with the Transmuters, on Crown Vetch Enterprises, 304 Clinton St., Greenville, PA 16125), and he's ready to do it again. "I play music because I love it," he explains. "I just want the music heard."
